The sixth day of the Ajoka Dosti International Theatre Festival at Alhamra Arts Council featured the enthralling performance *Mr. & Mrs. Kraft*. Presented by the Neamera Teatro Theatre Company, founded in 2014 by Diana Costa (Italy) and Pablo Durán Rojas (Spain), this play captivated the audience with its dynamic exploration of masking and unmasking. Under the direction of Pablo Durán Rojas, the performance drew on the rich tradition of commedia dell’arte, incorporating expressive paper masks crafted from recycled materials. This innovative approach created a compelling visual and auditory experience that resonated with the audience.

Following this, an energetic cultural performance took place in Hall 01’s foyer, where local artists showcased their talents through vibrant music and dance. The performances were met with enthusiastic applause, adding a colorful local dimension to the festival’s international offerings.

Looking ahead, the festival will include engaging panel discussions featuring distinguished intellectuals from the United States, China, Italy, Pakistan, and India. These sessions promise to spark insightful conversations on a variety of global topics. On Friday, celebrated dancer Sheema Kermani will grace the stage, heightening anticipation for the festival’s final days.

Additionally, audiences can look forward to a special event titled *From Bulha to Bulha*, celebrating the shared heritage of the revered Sufi poet Baba Bulleh Shah. This performance, part of Ajoka’s production of “Bulha,” will include extracts and monologues performed by Pakistani and Indian artists, highlighting the cultural and philosophical connections that transcend borders. Ajoka Dosti International Theatre Festival will conclude on Sunday, November 17.
