Speaking at the event, Ameer Ali Salman emphasized the critical role that intellectual property plays in driving innovation for startups and creative enterprises.
“Young entrepreneurial minds are always manipulated by the idea of making money without realising their interest in that particular field. They are following the stereotypes and ultimately being burnt out after a few months. We need to provide them with reasoning and systematic tools to secure their future and business” he said.
SMEDA was established in October 1998 under the Ministry of Industries and Production, plays a crucial role in promoting the growth and development of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Pakistan. Hina Anwar, representing SMEDA, highlighted the importance of such collaborations in fostering an environment where entrepreneurs can flourish while protecting their intellectual creations.
The event served as an ideal platform for entrepreneurs, students, and researchers to bring their IP-related queries and receive practical, expert advice. Participants left the session with actionable insights on how to safeguard their businesses’ intangible assets.
