Directed by Shoaib Khan and scripted by Nasir Adeeb, Bullah is an action film from Pakistan’s 2026 lineup, made in Punjabi. Shake Films handled production while HKC Entertainment brought it to distribution. Shaan Shahid leads the cast in the titular role, joined by Sara Loren, Saleem Sheikh, Naeema Butt, Adnan Butt, Ali Josh, and Maham Mirza. At the center of Bullah is a man who takes a stand against organized crime and injustice spreading across Punjab.
Drawing on the philosophical wisdom passed down from his father, Bullah steps in to save victims of violent gangs, putting him on a collision course with criminal networks headed by Faqeera, Bakshi, and Shahu. Sophia — an undercover agent and Bullah’s love interest — teams up with him as he moves against Bakshi and Shahu while shielding those left displaced and defenseless.
The story casts Bullah as a contemporary action hero, with his fight built around themes of resistance, faith, dignity, and social justice. The project brought Shaan Shahid back to Punjabi cinema after a lengthy absence. It also marked a reunion between Shahid and Saleem Sheikh on screen, nearly three decades since they last appeared together.
Bullah pulled in Rs. 2.36 crore domestically over its opening weekend. Shake Films reported a five-day figure of Rs. 8.91 crore, with the same source noting Rs. 1.33 crore earned across key overseas markets like the UK, North America, and the UAE. NDTV India later put the worldwide gross at Rs. 17.84 crore, factoring in earnings from Pakistan, the GCC, North America, Canada, and the UK.
That report also credited the film with helping breathe new life into single-screen cinema business across Punjab.
