The Pak International Business Forum (PIBF) has congratulated the victorious candidates of chambers of commerce and industry across the country, particularly those who contested and secured victories from the PIBF platform.
In a joint statement, PIBF Central President Dr. Mushtaq Mangat and Central Secretary General Muhammad Ejaz Tanveer congratulated all successful candidates and expressed the hope that the newly elected chamber leadership would effectively represent the interests of the business community.
They said that with the election process now concluded, it was the responsibility of the elected representatives to rise above political and group differences and work collectively for the betterment of traders, businessmen and industrialists.
The PIBF leaders stressed the need for a unified approach to address issues relating to trade, industry, taxation, energy costs, exports and ease of doing business. They said chamber leadership should give priority to resolving genuine problems faced by businesses and creating an environment conducive to investment, growth and employment.
Dr. Mushtaq Mangat and Muhammad Ejaz Tanveer said political differences should not become a hurdle in pursuing the broader interests of the country. They called upon all elected representatives to work together with the government and relevant institutions for sustainable growth and improved economic opportunities for the people.
They expressed confidence that the newly elected leadership of the chambers would demonstrate unity, responsibility and a spirit of cooperation while working for the welfare of the business community and the common man.
