Sixteen-year-old cricketer Arham Mehfooz delivered an outstanding all-round performance at the Independence Day Inter-House Cricket Tournament held on August 15 as part of the Independence Day celebrations, earning the Man of the Match award.
Arham Mehfooz has been receiving regular cricket training at Moin Khan Cricket Academy for the past year. Representing Abdul Razzaq House in the tournament, Arham produced an impressive performance in all three departments of the game — bowling, wicket keeping and batting.
The opposition posted a challenging total of 176 runs in 15 overs. Arham responded brilliantly with the ball, conceding only 6 runs in his two overs and taking 2 important wickets.
He then continued his excellent performance behind the stumps as wicketkeeper, taking 4 catches during the match.
