Over 1200 orphan children from underprivileged families will spend a fun-filled day at an elite holiday resort on Karachi’s outskirts. These orphan children are enrolled in the charitable schools of the non-profit Green Crescent Trust (GCT) in the deprived parts of Karachi. A total of 2114 orphan children are enrolled at 170 charitable schools in underprivileged parts of Sindh. For the rest of the orphan children, the GCT will soon organize similar leisure days at famous recreational spots in Hyderabad and Sukkur. The Government of Sindh (GoS), in partnership with the Legal Aid Society (LAS) and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), has launched the revised Sexual Violence Response Framework (SVRF) 2025-2029.
