Daraz Pakistan has launched its official e-pharmacy, providing customers across the country with a trusted and convenient way to purchase authentic over-the-counter (OTC) medicines and healthcare essentials online. The service is operated through Daraz’s licensed pharmacy facility, with medicines sourced, stored and dispensed in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements.
At launch, the e-pharmacy offers more than 450 products from over 20 established pharmaceutical and healthcare brands, including Haleon, Getz Pharma, Abbott, AGP, Nature’s Bounty, Route2Health and Searle. The assortment includes DRAP-registered OTC medicines, vitamins, supplements and other healthcare essentials sourced through authorised channels. Customers can place orders through the Daraz app and receive their products within one to three days across all cities currently served by Daraz.
To mark the occasion, Daraz Pakistan organised its first national conference on e-pharmacy, bringing together pharmaceutical executives, healthcare entrepreneurs, pharmacists, industry leaders and other stakeholders to discuss the future of digital healthcare in Pakistan. The conference featured panel discussions on the future of e-pharmacy, the development of the country’s digital healthcare ecosystem, innovation and compliance within the pharmaceutical sector, and the evolving role of pharmacists, with Mr. Shehryar Memon, Coordinator, Emergency Operations Center for Polio Eradication & Immunization, also in attendance.
As part of the conference, Daraz also signed MoUs with 10 leading pharmaceutical partners, strengthening collaboration across areas including medicine authenticity, digital access and responsible fulfilment.
“Customers should be able to access authentic medicines conveniently without compromising the professional oversight and safeguards expected from a pharmacy,” said Ben Yi, Managing Director, Daraz Pakistan. “Our e-pharmacy brings together qualified pharmacists, trusted pharmaceutical brands and Daraz’s logistics capabilities to create a dependable online pharmacy experience. Just as importantly, this launch gives us an opportunity to work more closely with the industry and contribute to the responsible development of e-pharmacy in Pakistan, with trust, compliance and access at its core.”
The e-pharmacy uses dedicated handling and fulfilment processes designed for pharmaceutical products. Medicines are securely stored, carefully packed and transported through safe delivery channels to help protect their condition throughout the journey to the customer’s doorstep.
The initiative marks a new step in Daraz Pakistan’s expansion into essential categories and its broader engagement with the country’s evolving digital healthcare ecosystem. Over time, the platform plans to grow its assortment and deepen collaboration with pharmaceutical partners as the category develops.
