tapmad unveiled its much-anticipated original series Shamsher with a star-studded and emotionally charged trailer launch event on May 28, 2025, at Pearl Continental Karachi’s Zaver Hall. The event was a dynamic celebration that brought together the worlds of entertainment and sport, weaving storytelling with national pride and cultural legacy.
Leading the evening were the show’s stars Farhan Saeed, Hareem Farooq, Behroze Sabzwari, and Umer Aalam, joined by producer Nina Kashif and director Shehrazade Sheikh. A special tribute was held to honor Pakistan’s hockey legends, including Qamar Ibrahim, Sameer Hussain, and current national team captain Amad Butt. Hareem Farooq added, “I didn’t know Pakistan had so many achievements in hockey. I am embarrassed that we never really got to know them until I took on this project.”
