Keeping up with its commitment to prioritising safety and well-being, foodpanda, Pakistan’s leading delivery platform, has conducted a comprehensive road safety training session for its delivery riders in collaboration with Driving License Sindh (DLS). The training aimed to equip riders with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate roads safely and responsibly.
The session was expertly facilitated by D.B. Ali Suhag, Incharge Sindh Police Accident Analysis & Research Center (SPAARC). The training covered various critical topics, including defensive driving techniques, traffic rules and regulations, hazard perception, safe vehicle handling, and emergency response procedures. This initiative highlights foodpanda’s commitment to the safety and well-being of its delivery partners.
“Recognizing that riders are the backbone of its operations, foodpanda remains committed to equipping them with the right training and resources to ensure their safety on the road.” said Ahsan Malik, Head of Logistics foodpanda Pakistan. “Riders’ safety is our top priority, and investing in their well-being is essential. This collaboration with Driving License Sindh is another step towards providing our delivery heroes with the best possible training and knowledge to navigate the roads safely”, he further added.
The training session concluded with the distribution of certificates, and a Q&A session.Helmets were also distributed among the riders present.
