MOL Pakistan donates latest IT equipment and water filtration plant to residents of Margala Block

Islamabad (Muhammad Yasir)  MOL Pakistan Oil and Gas Company B.V. in partnership with the National Highways and Motorway Police (NHMP) has donated the latest IT equipment and a state-of-the-art reverse osmosis (RO) water filtration plant to the residents of Margala Block. Both the facilities were formally inaugurated by Dr. Syed Kaleem Imam, Inspector General (IG), NHMP in a simple ceremony held at the NHMP headquarters.
While talking to the audience, the IG thanked the management of MOL Pakistan for the opportunity to participate in the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. Dr. Syed Kaleem Imam said, “The NHMP works day and night to make everyone’s journey safe on the road. It is our mission to promote road safety on motorways and highways through effective enforcement and the provision of roadside assistance with the highest standards of courtesy, integrity and professionalism.”
In his message, Ali Murtaza Abbas, MOL Group Regional Vice President for Middle East, Africa, and Pakistan said, “MOL Pakistan is a responsible corporate entity working in Pakistan since 1999. Since then, we have worked to alleviate the energy crisis in Pakistan and to improve the wellbeing of local communities where we operate. The donation of the latest IT equipment and a water filtration plant to the residents of Margala Block is another example of this commitment. We are determined to keep this momentum in the many years to come.”
It is pertinent to mention that the IT equipment included the latest laptop and desktop computers. The filtration plant has been installed with the capacity to pump 1,000 liters of clean drinking water per hour.
