The coaches at the Shama Cricket Club spotted this sheer talent and started nurturing him with thorough concentration and professional training. Shama Cricket Club has a legacy of producing original talent like ‘Iftikhar Ahmed’, ‘Maaz Khan’, ‘Muhammed Ilyas’, ‘Adil Amin’, ‘Hammad ul Hassan’ and laddering them to the top level at the extend of not only getting into Pakistan’s National Team Camp but catching eyes of millions at the international cricketing arena as well. The leadership and a winning attitude which the Shama Cricket Club injected in him from his teen days has cascaded well at the professional level providing him the ever dreamed honour of being amongst the top five players named in the renowned ‘Wisden Cricketers Almanack 2021’ not to forget as the ‘Test Cricketer of the Year 2020’ by PCB in a record span of time and now the winning captain of the PSL 2021 leading his team from nowhere to becoming a True Champion Team.
