Lahore (Muhammad Yasir) Well known actor and host Uzair Hassan Khan said in his statement that he started his artistic career as a child star from Lahore and acted in super hit dramas like Andhera Ujala, Sona Chandi, Khawahish, Fareeb etc. He said that since the drama industry has shifted from Lahore to Karachi, a certain lobby which has been harassing the artists due to its misrepresentation, especially some senior artists along with new artists, is also being harassed. He announced to produce dramas serials from Lahore and said that I would like to ask the artists as well as the producers to produce drama series in Lahore. There is a lot of talent here. Many great artists who have moved to Karachi are from Lahore. “There are a lot of dramas being made in which social problems and family breakdowns are being created. Such dramas are being made that we can’t watch with our family. He said that I will never work in Karachi whenever the opportunity arises.” He vowed to play its role in highlighting the cultural activities of Lahore with full concentration and determination.
