LAHORE: Secretary Primary and Secondary Healthcare (P&SH) has issued an alert in view of the fourth wave of Corona virus threat. According to details, indicating a smart lockdown, Sarah Aslam said if SOPs were not followed, crowded places could be closed again.
“Corona could flare a fourth wave, citizens must also take responsibility to avoid the fourth wave. Prate has been increasing for a few days and the situation deteriorating. People should adopt SOPs in all business centers and citizens should wear masks, wash hands, use hand sanitizer.”
She requested the people of Punjab to take precautionary measures to protect themselves and avoid going out of the house unnecessarily. All older citizens must be vaccinated against the corona virus. Vaccines are available in large quantities at all centers.
It is to be noted that the Punjab Chief Minister has said in his statement that due to carelessness and non-implementation of SOPs, there is a danger of increase in the number of Covid cases. Citizens must be careful and not miss out wearing mask, she added.
