School of Leadership announces the 18th Young Leaders Conference

YLC enters its 18th Year

Lahore (Muhammad Yasir In a grand event, the team of School of Leadership announced this year’s Young Leaders Conference (YLC), marking the 18th year of the conference with the primary objective of changing lives of youngsters by connecting them with opportunities for the future.

Making the announcement at the event, Osama Nasir, Lead Young Leaders Conference 2019 shared the theme, Amplify – Transcending Limits for this year’s pioneering youth leadership event. Osama commented “YLC is a life changing experience where you will be able to participate in interactive sessions and activities. You will be able to learn about the diversified ideas from your fellows as well as the changing global trends about practical leadership and professional life from our esteemed speakers.”

The Young Leaders Conference is a 6 days 5 nights event where 300 urban and rural, promising young leaders, live and learn together from the wisdom of 50 top business, social, political, art leaders and the engagement of the country’s foremost facilitators. YLC’19 will be a fusion of innovation and inspiration which will urge participants to look at future possibilities. The conference also seeks to foster a sense of social responsibility through post-conference social action projects. School of Leadership is keen to train and facilitate youth of Pakistan gathering at the platform.

The School of Leadership’s Chief Executive Officer Hammad Saeed, while addressing the media added: “YLC is a dream of the youth of Pakistan to explore their talents. Our aim is to provide a refreshing and engaging experience to individuals who have immense talent and the potential for growth.  The participants here practice the skill set of addressing the management issues like communication, organizing and team work. We aim to inspire out young talents to explore and apply their leadership potentials in the right directions.”

Since its inception back in 2002, the Young Leaders Conference has been supported by key partners across Pakistan. Since the last 18 years, we are creating awareness about countless leadership possibilities in the country. The conference this year is returning to Lahore and will be held from July 1st – July 6th. The first four days of the conference will take place in a local hotel in Lahore while the remaining two days the conference will be shifted to Chand Bagh in Mureedkay. Shireen Naqvi Founding Director School of Leadership added “YLC comes with the aim to provide the most comprehensive and thorough residential learning process throughout the 6 days event. The participants are no more than 24 years of age, still we can see their exceptional ideas for changing the business dynamics. We are here to channelize their ideas through our speakers’ valuable experience.”

Since 2002, YLC has contributed over 5,000 graduates to our local and global landscape spread over 150 cities and villages across Pakistan and some abroad creating a vast Alumni Network. Many have contributed back to their campuses, communities and companies in extraordinary ways. Over 105 youth-led organizations have emerged across Pakistan as a result of YLC’s Social Action Projects giving hope, putting themselves out there, sensitizing their society about global and local challenges and redefining their own lives in social action.
