With great enthusiasm and a whirlwind of sentiments, EverReady Pictures and Adur Productions released the official movie trailer of ‘Gunjal’ (‘Entangled’) on othersday.
Written by Nirmal Bano and Ali Kazmi; directed by Shoaib Sultan and produced by Nighat Akbar Shah, ‘Gunjal’ is a fictionalised feature film inspired by real events
that follow journalist Shahbaz Bhatti as he investigates the murder of Pakistani child labour activist Irfan Masih who led a movement against child exploitation and bravely fought against the practice of child labour in Pakistan in the 1990s before his tragic murder in 1995.
Gunjal’s all-star cast includes Ahmed Ali Akbar; Resham; Amna Ilyas; Ahmad Ali Butt; Syed Muhammad Ali; Sarmed Aftab Jadraan; Razia Malik; Sardar Nabeel; Ali Aftab Saeed; Arham Khan; Ebtisam Mustafa; Habiba Sufyan; Ahsen Murad, Munir Khan and Usman Zia.
The much- anticipated and socially relevant film is slated to release in cinemas nationwide on December 8, 2023.
