Lahore – Pakistan film Industry’s two latest presentations “Punjab Nahi Jaungi ” and “Na Maloom Afraad 2″ released on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha received outstanding response and applause from the audience. Both the films feature ensemble star cast, exciting stories, punchy dialogues and beautiful locations which turned them complete entertainers and movie lovers giving the thumps up response.
According to reliable trade experts Punjab Nahi Jaungi collected over 12 crores in just four days from box office where as Na Maloom Afraad 2 is also not far behind which also collected over 10 crores in the same time period. Trade circles view that reception which Punjab Nahi Jaungi have got is extraordinary and the rate at which business is increasing due to positive word of mouth, it is very likely to beat the Box office collection of “Jawani Phir Nahi Aani ” highest grossing film of Pak Cinema in recent times.
Directed by Nadeem Baig, Paujab Nahi Jaungi starred Humayoun Saeed and Mehwish Hayat, Urwa Hocane and Ahmad Ali Butt in lead roles. The Film has written by veteran Khalil-ur Rehman Qamar and it has all the ingredients of a rich production. Audience have really admired the role of Humayoun Saeed’s father played by very talented senior artist Sohail Ahmad of ‘’Azizi” fame.
Na Maloom Afrad 2 also created great hype due to exciting promotion campaign before the release of the film. Star Cast including Fahad Mustafa, Javed Sheikh, Mohsin Abass Haider and Urwa Hocane are seen in reprising their roles of earlier installment. Addition of Hania Amir and marina khan is also good. Film is being directed by Nabeel Quraishi and produced by Fizza Ali Meerza.
Both the films are running in packed housed across the country and advance booking rate is also very phenomenal. Beside these two movies no Indian film was allowed to be played in the cinema during Eid Holidays, which have helped them in fetching great business. Trade circles hope that golden run of both films is expected to continue during upcoming a couple of weeks as well, after which final box office numbers will be determined.
