Ajoka’s Film Workshop begins

Ajoka institute’s 5-day filmmaking workshop began on Thursday 24 February in Lahore. The workshop is being conducted by Lux Award nominee director Amir Yousaf and includes hands- on training in concept development, production and post production process of film making. Ajoka Institute director Nirvaan Nadeem welcomed the young participants. He said Ajoka has been conducting writing and acting classes for over two years and the filmmaking workshop was a natural next step for providing opportunities for affordable professional  training for the youth in this promising and challenging field. He said Ajoka was fortunate to have an experienced  and creative director like Aamir Yousaf as the mentor fir this workshop. He said Ajoka plans to soon hold regular short filmmaking courses. 
Aamir Yousaf appreciated the contribution of Ajoka  in providing high quality meaningful  entertainment and grooming young talent. 
The workshop will conclude on Monday  28 February with a short film developed during the workshop and a certificate distribution ceremony.
