Pakistan’s technology sector achieved a historic milestone at the Asia
Pacific ICT Alliance (APICTA) Awards 2024, bagging 10 awards across
multiple categories. This incredible achievement highlights the
nation’s growing prominence in the global ICT landscape.

The APICTA Awards, held in Brunei Darussalam, brought together
delegations from 16 member economies to celebrate technological
innovation and excellence. Pakistan’s delegation, led by Muhammad
Zohaib Khan, comprised 20 talented teams representing startups, IT
companies, and academic institutions.

Muhammad Zohaib Khan, CEO of A2Z Creatorz, former Chairman of P@SHA,
and an APICTA EXCO member, who served as the Head Judge.

Dr. Shoab Khan, a former Chairman of P@SHA, Advisory Judge, and APICTA
EXCO member.

Badar Khushnood, a former Chairman of P@SHA and esteemed Judge.
Together, these industry veterans upheld the event’s high standards
while representing Pakistan’s ICT excellence.

The 20-member delegation led by Muhammad Zohaib Khan included
innovative companies, startups, and academic teams that demonstrated
exceptional creativity and technological expertise. Winning projects
like Adlytic-AI (double award winner) and Augmented Reality-based User
Manuals (People’s Choice and Tertiary Students category) reflect
Pakistan’s commitment to developing cutting-edge solutions.

The APICTA Awards provide a platform for collaboration, product
benchmarking, and networking, fostering economic and trade
opportunities among member economies.

The Chief Guest, the Honorable Minister of Transport and
Telecommunications of Brunei, commended all participants for their
contributions to technology and innovation.

 The Asia Pacific ICT Alliance (APICTA) is a regional association
promoting technological innovation and indigenous ICT solutions for
global markets. Its annual awards are a hallmark of excellence,
recognizing the best projects from member economies.
