Dr Asad Ali, Professor and Chair of the Department of Community Health Sciences at the Aga Khan University (AKU) and author of “Poverty to Prosperity: A Blueprint for Change” discussed how public–entrepreneurship partnerships can create sustainable solutions to end extreme poverty. The book talk was part of the AKU Author’s Day 2025 week long celebrations.

During the session, moderated by Professor Stephen M. Lyon, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, AKU, Dr Ali drew on real-world experiences from Pakistan and emphasized that aligning public policy, business incentives, and community needs can help transform vulnerable communities and drive sustainable development in the country.
