Warda retail store was established in 2006 by Wardha Saleem, a Pakistani fashion designer. The fashion house initially stocked casual unstitched printed and embroidered lawn fabrics as well as formal wear in both printed and embroidered variety.

Colour & Embroidery
Shirt fabrics include embroidered motifs on the neckline, sleeves and in some cases on the front panel too. The colours used are thankfully not too loud and range from earthy tones to fresh bright colours. The embroidered motifs feature ethnic patterns and darker tones that make them stand out on the otherwise earthy base colour. It is refreshing to see lime greens, light sea greens and cool pink shades also as they look great in summers.
Fabric Quality & Measurements
The fabrics used are soft pure lawn for shirts and trousers whereas the dupattas come in flowy chiffon, weaved cotton or lawn fabrics. The standard shirt measurement for unstitched fabrics offered by other designers is not more than 2.5 meters.
