Lahore (Muhammad Yasir) Somia khan, Queen of Punjabi Pop music, remembered for her soulful songs with colorful videos have urged the singers and musicians to follow the modern professional standards to revive the music industry from the sinking. While talking to the Newsupdatetimes, Somia Khan revealed that she tried to introduce new trend by high quality music videos enriched with folk poetry and best technical work which received standing ovations from all quarters of life and became huge hits on social media platforms like you tube etc.
She stressed that all the singers should follow the same standard and bring out appealing songs with innovative videos, only this way, we can bring out the music industry from effects of corona pandemic. Star singer further said that it is very disappointing that songs of big stars failed to impress the listeners and similarly beside coke studio all big national and international brand could not create their impact in music arena despite spending million of rupees. Although the songs they produced were decorated and featured by the lead actors, but they failed to create long lasting impact because lack of quality and music awareness.
Music is purest form of creation and it is not everybody’s cup of tea. multinational brands should take help from real musicians, if they are serious in reviving the music of Pakistan, otherwise their efforts will not be able to bring desired results. On the occasion of Jashn-e- Azadi, somia khan is planning to release a new video song. Audio of the track is ready and pre-production on video is underway.
Somia added that music is her passion and Pakistan is homeland and she will a tribute to beloved Pakistan on its 74th Jashn-e- Azadi. Somia khan revealed that after the corona restrictions ends, she will tour the whole Pakistan and will organize music concerts in various cities to revive the music industry and provide quality entertainment to youngsters.
