Sheikh Tariq Nazir has been elected unopposed as Chairman of the Constructors Association of Pakistan (CAP) for the 2026-28 term in the association’s annual elections.
Syed Muhammad Naeem Kazmi was elected Senior Vice Chairman, while Chaudhry Aamir Majeed, Engineer Muhammad Kamran Kazmi, Rana Muhammad Tariq, Engineer Pervez Khan and Engineer Attaullah Khan were elected Vice Chairmen for Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan and Islamabad, respectively.
All the office-bearers were elected unopposed.
From the Corporate Class, Marghoob Shakir Izhhar, Engineer Kamal Nasir Khan, Zahid-ul-Hasan Qureshi, Chaudhary Sabir Hussain Javed, Malik Muhammad Riaz Khan, Faisal Mehmood, Engineer Syed Ashfaq Hussain Shah, Engineer Abdul Samad Khan, Muhammad Saleem, Rana Muhammad Ibrahim, Engineer Asghar Ali Memon and Muhammad Qasim were elected unopposed as members of the Executive Committee.
From the Associate Class, Muhammad Satwat Khan, Chaudhary Khaleeq Ahmad Awan, Haji Maqsood Saeed Butt, Khalid Majeed, Abdul Waheed Cheema, Shahid Mansoor Marith, Rizwan Mohsin, Malik Muhammad Azim Ullah and Malik Asghar Nadeem were elected unopposed as Executive Committee members.
Outgoing CAP Chairman Syed Afzal-ur-Rehman congratulated Sheikh Tariq Nazir and the newly elected office-bearers and expressed the hope that the new leadership would work effectively to address the issues confronting the construction industry and contribute to its sustainable growth.
