The Pak International Business Forum (PIBF) has announced that it will actively participate in the upcoming elections of Chambers of Commerce and Industry across Pakistan. In this regard, PIBF President Dr. Mushtaq Mangat has appointed Syed Umairuddin as the Head of the Chamber Liaison Committee. He will be responsible for coordinating with chambers nationwide and overseeing the Forum’s election-related activities. Dr. Mushtaq Mangat stated that PIBF would contest the chamber elections across the country with full commitment and would strive to bring forward a leadership capable of effectively representing the business community and addressing the challenges faced by trade and industry. Meanwhile, for the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) elections, PIBF has announced its full support for the Progressive Group and has appointed Abdul Wadud Alvi as the Lahore Coordinator to manage coordination and election-related affairs in Lahore. Dr. Mangat reaffirmed that PIBF will continue its struggle for effective representation of the business community, promotion of trade and industry, and protection of the rights of traders and industrialists. He added that the Forum remains committed to strengthening the private sector’s role in Pakistan’s economic development through unity, advocacy, and constructive engagement.
