LYRICS
All you became was unkind to us
Breeding decay despite trying to trust
Moments are clustered away
Forgotten more than once
Yet I built a modest daydream
for us
My love, won’t you come and find me again?
My love, won’t you come and trace me over and over again?
My love, won’t you ask me twice?
I dreamt of atonement
Cleaning the dust over your shrine
I felt it was prudent
To adorn it with fantasy
Words: cellophane
I could not wait for you to
Follow me in to my void
Words: that would only deny me
I am but lost in a moment
You’ve stolen the fabled harmony | the faithful part of me
A moment, a moment falling apart
Could we find solace in an omen
Resting inside our scars?
I forfeit the keys to your heart
To your heart
