Success ​Some journeys do not merely lead to destinations; they add a new dimension to a person’s identity. The transition from the corporate world to the creative realm is a story of ambition, hard work, and conviction, one that bridges geographic distances through art. Samad Aariz is one such individual, stepping out of business to establish a distinct identity across film, music, and acting.
​Introducing himself, Samad shared: “I am a British-Pakistani based in the UK. Professionally, I am an entrepreneur, film producer, music producer, and actor.”
​He completed his early schooling in Lancashire, England, finishing his GCSEs at Rhyddings High School before attending Accrington College. He began his career in the food industry before moving to London, where he spent five to six years in his family’s business. He later returned to Lancashire to continue working in the fast-food sector.
​When asked about his entry into Pakistan’s entertainment industry, he noted: “I always had a deep interest in the fine arts, but I formally began working in Pakistan’s film and music industry in 2023. I am now a member of the Pakistan Film Producers Association. My goal is to contribute positively through unique, high quality projects.”
​Reflecting on his musical collaborations with prominent artists, he said: “I have had the opportunity to collaborate on various music projects with Malkoo Studio, Wajid Ali Baghdadi, Mazhar Rahi, Humaira Arshad, and the Jaggu Man Brothers, which has been a wonderful experience.”
​Highlighting his television work, he shared: “I acted in the drama serial Judai, alongside Javed Sheikh, Nayyar Ejaz, Furqan Qureshi, Ukasha Gull Ashraf, and I am glad it was completed successfully.”
​Discussing his latest endeavors, Samad revealed: “Currently, I am acting in the horror film Faramosh, directed by the renowned Abu Aleeha, which is presently in production. Looking ahead, I am also preparing to produce my own film soon while continuing to focus on distinct, high-quality content.”
​Concluding with his vision for the future, he added: “I want to blend my business background with my creative vision to deliver projects across film, drama, and music that not only entertain, but also project a positive image of Pakistan globally.”
