Engro Fertilizers is honoured to support the Punjab Transport Authority, Government of Punjab, in raising awareness about mandatory vehicle emission testing – an important step towards improving air quality and creating healthier communities across the province.

The initiative aims to monitor and reduce harmful vehicle emissions by encouraging vehicle owners to have their vehicles tested and certified. As sustainability is a shared responsibility, the campaign seeks to build greater public awareness of the role everyone can play in contributing to cleaner air.

In the first phase, all vehicles with Internal Combustion Engines (ICE) are required to undergo emission testing and obtain certification by 15 October 2026, with Lahore serving as the first city.

The campaign aligns with Engro Fertilizers THRIVE framework, which reflects the company’s commitment to creating a healthier and more sustainable future across its areas of impact. With one of the key pillars of THRIVE being ‘Energy & Emissions Stewardship’, THRIVE reinforces the importance of responsible action for people, communities, and the environment. Supporting this awareness campaign is a natural extension of that commitment beyond Engro Fertilizers’ own operations.

Every vehicle that meets emission standards contributes to cleaner air for the communities we live in. By getting their vehicles tested and certified, vehicle owners can play their part today in building a healthier environment for generations to come.
