BYD Pakistan has released Time Machine, the third episode of The Great Pakistan Adventure, a travel and storytelling series exploring Pakistan’s landscapes, communities, and cultural heritage through immersive journeys across the country featuring the BYD Shark 6.
Led by creator and storyteller Maryam Raja, the latest episode journeys through Sukkur, the Indus River, and Gorakh Hill to uncover a side of Sindh where history, nature, and tradition continue to shape everyday life.
Through personal interactions and local experiences, Time Machine explores the deep connection between Sindh’s people and the environments they inhabit. Moving beyond conventional travel content, the episode reflects themes of continuity, coexistence, and cultural identity across some of the province’s most distinctive landscapes.
One of the episode’s defining moments takes viewers to the waters of the Indus near Sukkur, home to the endangered blind Indus dolphin. The journey highlights how communities living alongside the river have, through generations of inherited knowledge and coexistence with the ecosystem, quietly contributed to protecting one of Pakistan’s rarest species.
The episode also travels toward Gorakh Hill, where Sindh’s cultural richness reveals itself through local hospitality, conversations with communities, and food deeply rooted in regional traditions.
Throughout the expedition, the BYD Shark 6 navigates riverbanks, sandy terrain, and elevated routes often difficult to access. Equipped with dedicated sand terrain mode, intelligent all-wheel drive systems, and hybrid performance engineered for varying conditions, Pakistan’s first PHEV pickup enables the team to explore remote locations with confidence and adaptability.
Speaking about the vision behind the series, Syed Haider Mujtaba, Head of Marketing at BYD Pakistan – MMC, said: “With The Great Pakistan Adventure, we want to tell stories that go beyond destinations and showcase the people, cultures, and communities that make Pakistan unique. Time Machine reflects the richness of Sindh not only through its landscapes, but through the traditions, relationships, and histories that continue to shape life there today.”
As part of The Great Pakistan Adventure, Time Machine continues BYD Pakistan’s effort to spotlight overlooked regions and untold stories from across the country through meaningful long-form storytelling experiences.
